Norm, while doing a favor for the under-the-weather Cliff, gets arrested for impersonating a postal employee. When a police officer comes to Cheers to straighten things out, Cliff denies knowing Norm. The gang tries to convince Cliff to do the right thing.

Meanwhile, an obstruction in the ventilation duct leaves the bar devoid of heat in the dead of winter. Diane, after shooting her mouth off once too many times, has to fix it.
