DOG BITES CLIFF

Cliff comes into Cheers with a dog bite, and, convinced by Frasier, decides to sue the owner. However, when Cliff meets the beautiful owner, Madeline, she starts dating him, and everyone thinks that she is trying to get him to drop the suit. But they are surprised when she tears up the form. Later, in a hotel room, Madeline pulls out an extra release form, and Cliff signs it. She immediately tells of her long lost husband, who was missing in action, and leaves.

Meanwhile, Diane asks Sam for a few weeks off so she can visit a monastery.
